Our little princess is just over 14 mo. old...and what a difference a year makes! She is now FINALLY up to 20lbs - so Mommy and Daddy just got her a super fancy front facing carseat...which she loves! We aren't really sure how she doesn't weigh more, seeing as she likes to eat EVERYTHING in sight! She is walking...no, RUNNING...everywhere. She loves to play chase with Mommy around the house and thinks it's hilarious when she catches her Mommy. She is becoming more of a Daddy's girl with each passing day (Daddy can hardly escape to go to the restroom anymore!). She loves to look at books, and is working on trying to talk (English, not babble - of which she is fluent). She also loves to dance - I will try to get some video of this up soon, because she is really funny to watch. That's all the updates for now, but I will post more soon!

Mila's "little man"

Hello to all -
Not really any new updates on Mila for the moment...other than that she has FOUR teeth coming in - which makes her a little fussy...I am actually posting again about her man Rhys Outlaw...Just wanted to let you know I have added a link on the list that will connect you to his photoshoot pictures - it's a REALLY good slideshow - so take a look when you get a chance - this is the guy you have all been praying for!

Beach Day

Mila had her first beach experience this past Saturday...she LOVED it! She spent the day with her Nonie and Mommy. We went to Moody Garden's Palm Beach, where Mila pranced around in her cutie patootie little blue bikini. All the little boy babies were checking her out...kind of scares her Mommy! haha! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

13 Months flew by so fast

I am sure many of you would agree...the last year has flown by so fast...seems like just yesterday this blog (and baby girl) was created! I am sure if you read my last post you understand how completely thankful Andy and I are to have such a strong and healthy girl.
Mila has had a few firsts since the last update...FIRST BIRTHDAY, first walk...now first run. She has clapped her hands, she dances everytime music comes on - it's really funny and hopefully I will get video of that up soon. She helped her daddy plant her Oak tree in the yard. She has attended two weddings, been on animal safari tour and been swimming at Aunt Candice's pool.
She is becoming quite the chatty patty...I know, I know...she gets that from her MOTHER! She used to only want Mommy but now she's equally a Daddy's girl...which is so sweet to watch!
She is (as was clearly seen at her party) very very blessed...AND SPOILED - but lucky for us she seems to be spoiled sweet, not rotten. Andy and I thank everyone who reads this for being a part of our (some extended)family...WE are blessed to have all of you!

Rhys

I know I owe many of you updates on Mila, and I will update it soon...however right now there is something I need to post because I know many of you believe in prayer...I am going to ask that if you read this, you take a few minutes to click on the attached link. It is a link to a blog about Rhys, Cody and Candice Outlaws' baby boy. Rhys really needs some cheerleaders right now, and I know I can count on all of you to do that for him. Cody and Candice are very very dear friends of ours...I think prayer is the least we can do for them! I honestly don't know what to do for our friends to help them through this time, so I ask you to do the only thing I think can make any impact right now...and that is to stop and look at their blog and take time out to talk to God about their little man. Wii Champion 2008!!

Mila now has two full big teeth and it breaking in FOUR on the top! We have stopped naming the teeth at this point. She started "school" on Monday - she's a big girl now...she even took two steps without holding on to anything!! She's not really "walking" yet, but SO CLOSE!!! She is also now a Nintendo Wii champ...just ask her Aunt Candy and Uncle Andy. (Mila wants a special note to Pops that she played MarioKart before he did...wink).

Momo's Birthday

Okay - not much has changed since the last post...but I have more pictures so I thought I would share.
Mila has TWO teeth now - she's a lean mean biting machine, haha! The pictures on this slideshow are from Momo's birthday (it was a week-long celebration).

The holidays have come and gone

I know, I know - many of you are upset that it has taken me this long to update the blog...what can I say - life with Mila has been hectic through the holidays. Mila was VERY spoiled from every direction for Christmas...my little princess wants for nothing. She just celebrated her first Easter as well - the day started prior to sunrise and the party didn't stop until late that evening...check out the pictures of Mila with the giant bunny from Nonie and Pops!
She just went to the doctor (had a little fever and cough for a couple of weeks)...but last night we understood why - MILA HAS A TOOTH! FINALLY!! She's been working on that tooth for a long time now - so we are going to name the tooth Sam...just kidding!
She now weighs a whooping 17 lbs and 4 oz. She crawls with super speed and like her mommy she is freakishly strong! She can rip your nostril right off of your face if you aren't careful! She pulls up to stand every chance she gets - and with the help of her lion push toy she can walk with support. She says "Dada" but nothing else yet - just makes a lot of noise...again, just like her mommy. She is such a good girl - rarely cries in public and really only gets fussy when she's sleepy or hungry - AGAIN - JUST LIKE HER MOMMY (wink)! I hope you all enjoy the latest slideshow - It's probably going to shock some of you how much she's grown in just a few months...I will work on keeping the blog better updated!
Also - Andy and I are doing great - just bought a house and are getting settled in...lots of fun every day!
